Taskforce's most frequently asked questions: Employees

1. Do you have any jobs? How long does it take to find a position?

As a staffing service, our job is to fill positions with the most qualified person as soon as possible. Our goal is to make a compatible match between our client and employee.

2. What do I have to do to register with your company? How long does the process take?

Interviews are done on Monday-Wednesday and Friday at 10:00 and 2:00. On Thursday interviews are only done at 2:00. The application process usually take approximately an hour and a half.

3. What do I need to bring with me?

You will need to bring two forms of Government Issued ID. If applying for a clerical position, please have a up-to-date resume.

4. How should I dress for registration and subsequent interviews?

You should always dress to make the best impression on your interviewer.  Your dress is a personal choice, but it will be considered when making hiring decisions.

5. Where are you located?

We have two locations. Our corporate office is located in Fredericksburg VA. We also have a branch office in Tappahannock, VA. Please feel free to call for directions.

6. How often will I be paid? What is the amount I will be paid?

Our employees are paid weekly. The rate of pay will differ with each job.

7. What area do you service?

We typically service Fredericksburg and the surrounding areas. 

8. Does it cost anything to register with Taskforce? Can I also register with other agencies?

To register with Taskforce does not cost anything. There will be jobs, though, that require certain equipment that can be obtained from Taskforce for a fee. These costs will be deducted from your first paycheck. It is encouraged that you apply at more than one staffing agency; this increases the chances of you finding gainful employment.

1) How do you find your employees?

 We explore many different options to obtain our employees. We have the capability to advertise for your specific needs or we may choose from our employee pool. We work closely with our local colleges and we do extensive recruiting locally.

2) What is your screening process for your employees?

The registration process includes Taskforce obtaining from the employee all new hire paper work; we maintain all documentation required by both state and federal agencies. In addition we also require all clerical candidates to complete our administrative testing; this includes tests for typing, filing, spelling, grammar and mathematical aptitude. We perform criminal background checks on all employees that we register, drug tests will be administered upon client request.

3) What is the advantage to my using Taskforce?

We make the process of hiring new employees uncomplicated. We do all pre-screening, you may request resumes to interview from several candidates if you wish. If the employees you request are not adequate just give us a call and we replace them for you immediately. We also assume all payroll expenses such as worker’s compensation insurance, FICA and unemployment insurance. Taskforce also assumes all holiday and vacation benefits as well while the employee continues on our payroll.

4) Am I responsible for any client based fees? What is the billing procedure?

There are no fees required from the employer; you are only billed for the hours that the employee actually has worked. Detailed invoices will be mailed weekly and payment is due upon receipt.

5) If I want to hire a Taskforce employee what are my options?

We have several different hiring alternatives; you may hire our employee directly for a nominal fee, you may also have them work through Taskforce on your assignment for a period of 400 hours at which time we can transfer them over to your payroll at no charge to you!
